Installing Honda TRX450R hood
- Remove black cover above headlights
- Remove headlights
- Remove black plastic piece below headlights but save the 2 push pins.

- Line the hood up at the top and mark the spot to be drilled in your plastic (use a 5/16 drill bit)
- remove the rubber grommets
- Since our hood is made to narrow the front end, it helps to zip tie the front to pull the fenders together. This gives the hood a tight fit to the fenders without that "flat shovel nose look". Using 2 zip ties, install them as seen here, then once the hood is installed reach underneath and pull tight.

- Drill and install both TOP push pins
- Line up and drill 2 holes on both sides of the front. (5/16 drill bit)and install the push pins.

- When installed, the hood should follow the lines of the front fender.

- 06 owners need to cut the tabs on the inside of the fenders. Completely cut the first tab off and leave only the top half of the upper tab, also , remove the small nipple at the very tip of the fender on both side....as shown below.
